Mother’s Day Gift Item
Mother’s Day is coming and we have three great ways to celebrate at Briar Barn Inn:
- Book a “Mother’s Day Stay”, guests will receive a gift box with custom gift offerings from The Spa at Briar Barn Inn. This gift box is full of products to pamper and enjoy in a guest room or at home.
- Purchase a gift card that can be redeemed at our inn, restaurant, and spa. Gift cards purchased for $150 or more will include a gift box, and a 5.5 oz Farm + Sea candle.
- Plan a meal at Grove for brunch or dinner. Reservations go quickly, but plan ahead with reservations 30 days in advance.

The Spa at Briar Barn Inn offers monthly specials to celebrate the spirit of the season, including foot soaks, facials, and massage treatments.
April Soak
The April Soak is a foot soak infused with lemon lavender Epsom salts. This soak includes a lavender paraffin mask for the feet, and comes with a complementary glass of sparkling wine or herbal tea and chocolate truffles for you to enjoy as you relax.
Antioxidant Facial
The Antioxidant Facial provides your skin with a healthy dose of Vitamins A, B, C, E, and K, which will help rebuild your skin barrier and protect you from free-radicals and UV rays. Your professional esthetician will use a gentle, yet healing cleanser fit for your skin type that replenishes your skin’s appearance with intense hydration and powerful healthy aging ingredients.
Lemon Lavender Bliss Massage
The Lemon Lavender Bliss Massage is a relaxing Himalayan Salt Stone massage paired with lemon lavender massage oil. This treatment also comes with a lavender paraffin mask for the feet.

Wolf Hollow
Run with the wolves at this non-profit wolf sanctuary and educational facility. You'll have the unique opportunity to meet the resident gray wolves and learn more about them as they interact with their pack mates.
Revere Beach Kite Festival - Sunday, May 19th
The perfect way to kick off beach season! Families will have the chance to build, decorate, and fly their own kites during this 9th annual event. There will also be other family friendly activities, including professional kite flyers, live music, and much more!
Castle Hill at the Crane Estate
Touring this property will allow you to tour the garden and landscape that has been associated with the property since 1929. The Italian and Rose Gardens are just two of the attractions that numerous hiking circuits wind through.
Duckling Day Parade - Sunday, May 12th
Enjoy one of Massachusetts’ most adorable Mother’s Day Event and celebrate in Boston’s iconic parks! The Ducklings Day Parade celebrates the classic book, “Make Way for Ducklings”, and gives children the opportunity to dress as their favorite characters from the story. Prior to the parade, families will have the chance to experience a wide array of entertainment including a creative play area, live music, and interactive circus games.
Mother's Day Tour & Pairing at Mill River Winery - Saturday, May 11th
Invite Mom for a fun and festive stroll through our grounds with Jen Ames, a Wine Educator! At each spot you will find a wine and food pairing while learning about our history, wines, and wine-making process! A fun filled experience for you and any mothers in your life.
